What to do for CAS? 10 tips for creativity
Unique ideas for CAS creativity experiences
We all know about playing piano and drawing but here are some ideas you might not have considered yet
1. Crafts
If someone in your family has a sewing machine, it is your time to starts designing clothes. Or learn to crochet: the basics are easy and there is a ton of resources online. Did you guys also do needle felting in primary school? It's so much fun. The possibilities are literally endless
2. Social media
Try photography and share them on social media or write posts about your interests. This is perfect for those who spend a lot of time online and are good with social media.
4. Join a choir
Might seem scary but it could be worth a try if you are interested in singing! Your school might have one you can join.
5. Creative writing
If you enjoy writing stories or poetry, you can use it for CAS, too.
6. Create a short film
This would be so much fun. You only need a few friends and phone camera. This is also perfect CAS project. Everyone can do something: write, film, act or edit.
7. Baking
Honestly, this one is pretty common but for A GOOD REASON. There is no down sides to this: you get CAS and you get sweet treats. Have your cake and eat it too... To get the learning outcome ethics of actions and choices you might wanna try plant based baking.
8. Movie reviews
You could post these on social media or write for your school magazine. I mean you could do books as well. But anyways this for those like me who can't be bothered to do anything but watch Netflix after school haha
9. Take dance lessons
cause why not?
10. Blog
Lastly and most importantly: be like me and write a blog. Although, I am not doing this for CAS because I'm m25 but this is actually quite fun if you like writing.
Sometimes CAS can be annoying but if just choose things that you will actually doing, it won't feel like waste of time. For me CAS creativity helped me to stay motivated and consistent with my music practises and try totally new things. Think about creative things that you are already doing and make them your experiences.
